Women in the middle ages. 

Women have struggled with achieving rights for a very long time. We are goin to talk about how theey had to dress , how the types of women were divided, where they worked and their obligation. 

• TYPES OF WOMEN: 

• THE NOBLE-> Highest category. She was the only one who coul enjoy certain privileges. She was responsable of the children and the organization of employees. 

• THE PEASANT-> She was the only in charge of all the domestic tasks and the education of the children, also she was in charge of the castle. 

• THE NUN-> She choose to dedícate her liife to God either because she is the second born and has no dowry for a good merriage. 

• TYPES OF WORK: 

• THE MAID-> She was the sexual toy of his master and takes care of the children. 

• THE SLAVES-> She was the fruit of human commerce. 

• OBLIGATIONS: 

• The woman should have characteristics and traits such as, cautions hard working, quiet and beautiful. 
• They shoul knnow aboutmadicine. 
• They could not decide who she was going to marry 

• The women wore desses at all times. 

• CLOTHING: 

• BETWEEN 900-1000; 

|They used tight clothing so they could display the elegance . 

|Some clothes were so high as completely to cover the neck. 

|Along tunic reaching the heles, faastened in at the waist and closed at the wrist. 

• BETWEEN 1000-1100; 

|They wore a cap made of linen with lappets 

|A robe was fastened round the waist 

|The tight gown, fastened at the collar by a round buckle. 

• BETWEEN 1200-1300; 

|Luxury was at its height when gold and silver, precios stones were lavished on clothes. 

|Massive belts of gold were also worn. 

|they usually wore a tight jacket.
